Puppy Love Reunited

Most of you know there is a special place in my heart for the SF SPCA.  I adopted my dog Max from there over 7 years ago now, and I have done as much as possible to support such an amazing organization, including being a volunteer photographer for the adoptable pups.  As you can imagine, it is no easy feat to walk out of there without bringing home a new pup every week, but the 2 we have already fill our SF condo.  I have learned to fight the urge MOST of the time, but there is the occasional extra-special pup that tugs on my heart strings.  Chloe was one of those pups.  I remember coming home to my husband and telling him about my new furry friend.  Of course I knew another doggy wasn’t an option, but I have to admit I was a little sad when I learned that Chloe had been adopted by the time I had returned to the SPCA the following week.  I was excited she found a loving home, but I was sad I wasn’t going to see that cute little face again.  But as fate would have it, that wasn’t the last time I’d see the adorable, loving gal!  A couple months later, I was walking to my studio, and I saw happy Chloe playing in the park!  Chloe was even happier and more loving than the last time I saw her.  We were reunited, and her new mom is amazing!  Elisa and I got to chatting and decided that a portrait session was in order.   You can imagine my excitement to have those two lovely gals in my studio this weekend!  They are so cute together, and fun was had by all!  So full of energy (and treats!).  Enjoy your preview, Elisa and Chloe!  I love, love, love my job.
